19-foot model submarine made from C-130 aircraft to appear at Redmond Veterans Day Parade 11 November 2025

A 19-foot-long model submarine made from a piece of a C-130 aircraft will appear on a float in the Redmond Veterans Day Parade on Veterans’ Day. It was built by the Submarine Veterans Base of Central Oregon and is an accurate depiction of a Sturgeon-class fast attack submarine that served in the U.S. Navy during the Cold War.
