A group of seven members of the USS Cincinnati Submarine Memorial Association took part in a ceremony in West Chester on 7 January 2026. At about 8 a.m., the group raised the American flag for the first time atop the sail of the USS Cincinnati Submarine Memorial.

The grand opening of the USS Cincinnati Cold War Memorial Peace Pavilion is scheduled for this spring, coinciding with the nation’s 250th birthday celebrations.
