Royal Australian Navy CAPT Stephen Hussey is a naval officer whose career includes experiences with three allied navies. His current role in AUKUS Integration & Acquisition (AUKUS I&A) program in Washington, D.C., as well as a 50-year career spanning the British Royal Navy, the Royal Australian Navy, and multiple US Navy exchanges has uniquely positioned him to embody the spirit of AUKUS — the enhanced trilateral security partnership between Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States designed to bolster regional security in the Indo-Pacific.
