About

SSWATS will be held from 15-16 July 2025 at Naval Base Kitsap in Bremerton, WA. On 14 July 2025, a reception will be held at Suquamish Clearwater Resort.

NOTE: SSWATS 2025 will be conducted in its entirety at the SECRET//REL USA, AUS, GBR level. SSWATS attendance is open to AUS and GBR personnel, including:

  • AUS and GBR military
  • Government civilians
  • Industry employees

Organizations selected to present will be required to abide by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and associated established procedures to established procedures to export controlled data and information. Organizations making presentations will be authorized by VADM Gaucher, COMSUBFOR, to self-certify under CFR 126.4 (ITAR exemption), or be able to self-certify under CFR 126.7 (AUKUS ITAR exemption). In either case, organizations making presentations must be registered with Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC). Organizations attending but not presenting are not considered to be exporting under ITAR and thus do not need to self-certify nor be registered with DDTC.

Admittance into the Symposium will not be permitted unless a valid DoD or DoE clearance at the SECRET level is received in advance. All attendees should submit to SMO code N450405. POC: Chief Stauffer, 360-396-4409, jared.m.stauffer.mil@us.navy.mil. Dates of visit: July 14-16, 2025. You must include "SSWATS" as the purpose for your visit.
