The US Navy (USN) has announced that it is set to deploy a torpedo-tube launch-and-recovery (TTL&R) uncrewed underwater vehicle (UUV) capability onboard an operational submarine for the first time, with the operational deployment set to commence by the end of 2024. The deployment will take place in the European theatre of operations.
