Fleet Master Chief John Perryman Selected as 17th Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy 18 August 2025

The Navy has announced the selection of Fleet Master Chief John Perryman as the 17th Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON).  Perryman, who currently serves as the senior enlisted leader for U.S. Fleet Forces Command, will relieve MCPON James Honea during a change of office ceremony scheduled for September at the Navy Memorial.
