The Maritime Industrial Base (MIB) Program and BlueForge Alliance (BFA) have launched an online platform, BuildSubmarines.com, to help build a more robust maritime industrial base. The MIB Program and BFA are now sponsoring four merit badges — Electricity, Engineering, Welding, and Robotics — to help Scouts see how the skills they learn can lead to a career in shipbuilding.

Learn more about the badges and efforts from the MIB and BFA.
