NSL Members should email outreach@navalsubleague.org stating whether you would like to be a Mentee, Mentor, or both. You will be registered into the program and then receive your login information to the mentoring website.

No. Thanks to technology, a mentoring relationship can thrive virtually. Emailing, texting, Zoom and Microsoft Teams video calling are just a few of the free resources to aid you.

Yes! There is always more to learn. You may want a Mentor to help you sharpen your leadership skills, learn how to mentor someone else, transition into retirement, even help with a new career.

Yes! The NSL Mentoring website houses resources that allow for a comprehensive and guided mentorship if you prefer a higher level of structure.

Yes! You can join as both Mentee and Mentor immediately, or as only one role initially and then transition to both later.

First email outreach@navalsubleague.org to register and receive your login information to the NSL Mentorship website. Once logged in, complete your profile, answer a questionnaire that determines what Mentees or Mentors you are best suited for. You will be presented with a few people who would be a good match. Next, select the person you would like to match with and reach out. If you connect, select match on your profile. Follow a scheduled curriculum for structure, create your own plans and goals with your match. The NSL Mentoring site, will list your mentorship as six months, but this relationship can last as long as desired.

Yes, The NSL Mentorship website uses an algorithm based on the questionnaire to display the NSL members who best suit you. You can choose out of this line up or you can enter the program already knowing who you would like to work with (provided the other party already agrees). If this is the case, email outreach@navalsubleague.org to be manually matched.
