The US Navy has commissions the USS Iowa (SSN 797). 7 April 2025

On April 5, 2025, the US Navy commissioned the the USS Iowa (SSN 797), the 24th Virginia-class nuclear-powered attack submarine (SSN). The ceremony took place at Naval Submarine Base New London, in Groton, Connecticut.
